Hey folks, Echo Qin here again from Tianying Used Bus. You know, after all these years selling used buses, I still get a kick out of sharing the good ones. This latest story is fresh – just wrapped up a sale of a solid used Yutong ZK6122 to a brand-new customer in the Dominican Republic. If you’re out there googling stuff like “used Yutong coach for sale” or “exporting buses from China,” stick around; maybe you’ll see yourself in this.

How It All Kicked Off

It started a few months back in August 2025. I was checking messages one morning and spotted this inquiry popping up on our Made-in-China page. Guy from the Dominican Republic, running a transport business, looking to grow his fleet with something dependable. He wanted space for passengers, good on fuel, and not some worn-out wreck.

I’d dealt with folks from Latin America before, so I figured there’d be the usual questions about shipping and trust. No big deal – I love walking people through it. Inquiry hit on August 20. I shot back an email right away from inquiry@tianyingusedbus.com, threw in some photos and specs. He perked up about Yutong right off the bat. Smart choice; those buses hold up like champions.

Switched to WhatsApp quick – my number’s +8618937132324 – because texts and voice notes make everything faster, especially across time zones. He admitted he hadn’t imported from China before, so I took my time explaining the basics, no pressure.

Finding the Match: Why This ZK6122 Was Spot On

We talked options, and pretty soon he was hooked on the ZK6122. It’s a 12-meter beauty, packs in around 53 seats, full AC, those comfy recliners – great for longer routes.

The one we had ready? Came straight from a big state-owned outfit in Xi’an. Used as their employee shuttle, so gentle life, regular maintenance, low kilometers. I knew it’d handle the heat and roads down in the DR no problem.

The Yard Visit That Sealed It

He wanted to see it himself, which I totally get. Flew in, and I met him at our yard. We keep stock on hand, so the bus was sitting there waiting.

Spent a good couple hours going over it – popped the hood, checked brakes and tires, sat inside, tested everything. He kept saying how surprised he was at the condition. “Echo, this is way better than I expected for used!” Yeah, that’s what I hear a lot. We don’t mess around with junk.

(Our yard inspections are thorough – similar to how folks check buses in lots worldwide.)

Navigating the Hiccups: Logistics and Trust

Things got a bit tricky with the export side. Worries about getting it to ports like Santo Domingo, meeting their import rules on emissions and such.

I teamed up with our shipping partners, crunched numbers for a full CIF quote. Sorted paperwork on our end. Payment nerves too – normal for first-timers. Suggested secure methods, shared contacts from previous happy customers.

Lots of messages back and forth, but we ironed it out. October 23, 2025, boom – order signed for one unit. Gave it a final spruce-up, loaded into a container safe and sound. Kept him posted with pics the whole way.

The Happy Ending: Feedback from the Road

Fast forward to late November – bus lands, clears customs smooth. He messaged me thrilled: fitting right in, riders commenting on the comfort, saving on fuel already. Even threw in some photos of it cruising local routes.

That’s the reward, honestly. Building that connection for maybe more down the line. With tourism picking up in the Dominican Republic, buses like this are in demand.

A Bit of Advice from My Side

These deals remind me why Tianying’s my spot. We grab buses from solid sources, get ’em export-ready. Check out our website if you’re browsing – Yutong, other brands, always updating.

The ZK6122 shines in humid climates, parts easy to find globally. All in all, great outcome. Saved him a ton versus new, and we’ve got another satisfied guy out there.
