How Our Ghana Customer Bought Two Used Yutong ZK6127 Buses Online Without Coming to China

I’m Nicole, and I sell used buses for Tianying Used Bus here in China. I’ve met hundreds of customers from different countries, but every now and then, one story just stays with you.

This one started in June 2025, on a quiet afternoon. I was checking my inbox when a short message came in through Google Ads. It said:

“Hi, I’m from Ghana. Looking for two used Yutong buses.”

No name, no company, no details — just that. I replied anyway, like I always do.

“Hi there! This is Nicole from Tianying Used Bus. May I know what kind of Yutong you’re looking for?”

He answered later that evening. Said he wanted two big preowned coaches for passenger transport. He’d never bought from China before and wasn’t sure what to expect. You could almost feel the hesitation in his words.

The First Few Messages

At first, he mostly asked about the price. Then he started asking about trust — “How do I know the buses really exist?” That’s a fair question. I get that one a lot.

So I didn’t rush to sell. I told him, “Don’t worry about buying yet. Let me show you what we have first.”

We had two 2nd-hand Yutong ZK6127 buses sitting in our own yard, both very tidy. They’d come from a state-owned company in Gongyi, used as staff shuttles. Those are usually in good shape — fixed routes, no rough handling.

I remember walking to the yard around 5 p.m. that day. The light was soft, and the buses had that warm metallic glow under the setting sun. I took photos, short videos, even one of me starting the engine so he could hear it run. Then I sent everything to him on WhatsApp.

Bus Inspection via WhatsApp Video Call

The next day he messaged: “Looks good, Nicole. But I can’t travel to China right now.”

So I offered a live video. We arranged a time. I called him from the yard, camera on, walking around both buses while explaining things in simple terms.

He asked about the seats, the air conditioning, and mileage. I opened the doors, showed him the dashboard, the tires, the luggage compartment — everything. At one point, I laughed and said, “You’re seeing more of these buses than I did this morning.” He laughed too.

By the end of the call, his voice softened.

“Nicole, I trust you. Let’s go ahead.”

That was it. Simple words, but I’ll never forget that moment.

The Deal Confirmation

We confirmed the order on November 5, 2025 — two units of Yutong ZK6127. He sent the deposit the next day. We rechecked the buses, cleaned them up, recorded another short video before loading, just to keep him in the loop.

Because they were already in stock, things moved quickly. About two weeks later, both buses were ready for shipment.

Why This Deal Mattered a Lot

This wasn’t a big deal in numbers, but it meant something to me personally. He trusted me without ever stepping foot in China. He didn’t need fancy brochures or long promises — just honest proof and real communication.

I think that’s what makes the difference in our business. People don’t buy buses from photos — they buy from people. When they feel your sincerity, that’s when business happens.

We’ve shipped to Ghana many times before, so I also sent him videos of other Ghanaian customers who had bought from us earlier. Seeing those made him smile. “Oh, you’ve worked with people here already,” he said.

About the Yutong ZK 6127 Buses

The Yutong ZK6127 is a great model — 12 meters, roughly 50 seats, powerful but smooth on rough roads. Most of our African clients like it because parts are easy to find, and the buses handle heat well.

Those two we sold to him came from a clean company fleet. Interiors were neat, engines sounded strong, and no visible rust. Even I was a bit proud of how well they looked after all those years.

The Last Message

When everything was done and the buses were loaded, I sent him the photos. He just wrote back:

“Thank you, Nicole. Waiting for them at Tema Port.”

Short, but it felt good. That’s all the thanks I need — a line like that means I did my job right.

What I’d Tell Any New Buyer

If you’re reading this and wondering whether you can safely buy a used bus from China, I’d say yes, you can — just make sure you’re working with a real supplier. Ask for videos, live calls, VIN numbers, anything that helps you feel certain.

At Tianying Used Bus, we’ve been around since 2010. We’ve got our own paint shop, maintenance team, and warehouse. Everything you see in our listings is physically in our yard. You can call me anytime; I’ll walk you through the process like I did for this Ghana customer.

Buying a bus doesn’t have to be stressful. Sometimes, trust just starts with one honest conversation.
