It all started on June 10, 2025.
I received an inquiry through our Google Ads campaign from a customer based in Gabon, Africa. As someone who has handled many international bus sales before, I knew from the beginning that every customer has unique concerns. Some are worried about the condition of the vehicle. Others care about the paperwork. Some simply want to work with a preowned bus supplier they can trust.
What this customer needed was clear communication, transparency, and proof that the second-hand buses he was about to buy were truly ready to go. That’s exactly what I set out to provide.

A Clear Inquiry, A Precise Goal
The customer’s message was brief but clear. He wanted to buy a small fleet—four used buses, ideally available right away. After asking a few initial questions about his needs, I learned that he was interested in:
- 2 units of Yutong ZK6125 used diesel buses
- 2 units of Toyota Coaster gasoline buses
Fortunately, we had all four vehicles in stock at our yard. These weren’t random listings—we had physically acquired and inspected each one, and I knew their conditions inside and out.

Verifiable Vehicle Backgrounds Matter
One thing I’ve learned in this business is that the origin of a used bus tells a big part of the story. So, when I introduced the buses to my client, I didn’t just send pictures—I told him exactly where each unit came from:
The two Yutong ZK6125 buses were purchased by Tianying two months earlier from a well-known travel company in Shanxi Province. These buses were maintained to meet the high standards expected by the tourism industry, with comfortable seating, intact interiors, and regular servicing.
Of the two Toyota Coasters, one was acquired one month ago from a high school in Linyi, Shandong Province. It had been used for short-distance transport of students—light usage and very regular maintenance.
The second Coaster was fresh stock, purchased just two weeks ago from the Forestry Bureau in Handan, Hebei. Government vehicles like these are typically driven with care, and this one was no exception—its mileage was low, the engine was strong, and the frame had zero signs of corrosion or damage.
By sharing this level of detail, I could tell my client felt more at ease. And when it comes to cross-border vehicle sales, peace of mind is everything.

Seeing Is Believing: On-Site Inspection
Although we had exchanged many messages and photos, the client wanted to take the next step: a visit to inspect the buses in person. I gladly welcomed him to our yard.
When he arrived, I walked him through every detail of each vehicle. I didn’t try to “sell” him anything—I just showed him the facts:
- Clean interiors
- Undamaged bodywork
- Real mileage verified on site
- Engine start-ups to check sound and performance
- Air conditioning systems in working order
- Vehicle documents ready for export
We even did side-by-side comparisons of the Coaster units so he could choose the one that best suited his operational needs.
Honest Dialogue Builds Trust
As we walked through the inspection, the client asked questions. Lots of them.
- “Why are these Yutongs no longer with the travel company?”
- “How do I know these Coasters weren’t involved in any accidents?”
- “Can you guarantee the paperwork is complete for export?”
I answered each one honestly. I told him the Yutongs were replaced by newer models ahead of schedule—common practice for tour fleets in China. The Coasters both had clean histories, and we verified this through ownership and service records.
For documentation, I showed him the full set of export-ready files: vehicle title certificates, customs clearance documents, and our standard sales contract with warranty terms.

A Confident Decision
By the end of the visit, the client smiled and said, “You didn’t just show me buses—you showed me everything I needed to feel secure.”
That was the moment I knew the deal would go through.
On July 1, 2025, just three weeks after the initial inquiry, we signed the order contract for:
- 2 Used Yutong ZK6125 diesel buses
- 2 Used Toyota Coaster gasoline minibuses
We immediately began export preparations, including final inspections, pre-shipment cleaning, and customs procedures. As I write this article, the units are en route to Gabon, ready to serve their new owner’s business.

Why This Case Matters
This case wasn’t just about selling four buses. It was about demonstrating what Tianying Used Bus stands for:
✅ Transparency – We share full vehicle histories.
✅ Speed – The customer found exactly what he needed, and fast.
✅ Professionalism – We accompany buyers during inspections, not just send links.
✅ Trust – We earn it not by talk, but by proof.
As a sales expert, my job is not only to close sales. It’s to make my customers feel supported, understood, and respected—especially those buying from overseas for the first time.
